This evening at 7pm in All Saints Church. Oldfield School, Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols. I’ve just heard them rehearsing and they are amazing! Open to all, so do come along.
On Sunday 19th November, we had our first “Oaks and Acorns” afternoon. About 25 acorns (younger people) and oaks (slightly older people!) met up to get to know each other better. There were traditional games, a quiz, cream team and an opportunity to share prayer requests. We will be having another “Oaks and Acorns” afternoon in March 2018. An All Saints re-branding team has been set up in order to consider the way we view ourselves as a church family and the way we come across to our local community. It’s the story of Joseph in Egypt. Today’s Open the Book story at the WASPS assembly enacted by one of the teams from All Saints. The children are thoroughly absorbed in the telling of this story. Well done to everyone involved.
