Youth & Children
Our aim is help children enjoy and experience an everyday God. We strive to make our groups enjoyable for kids – communicating faith and the Bible in a fun, positive, relevant, enthusiastic and creative way.
Sunday groups are based on Bible teaching, having fun, and experiencing the Holy Spirit. Activities are done that help the children think for themselves about who God is and His amazing love for us. The first week of every month we do not have groups but we meet for the “All Sorts Service” in the church building. Periodically we gather all the groups for kids worship in the church centre on a Sunday morning.

School Years 0-1 Sunday Mornings
We meet in the Weston Hall in the church centre during the morning service during term time. Through a balance of Old and New Testament stories the children have a chance to develop their understanding of God and the Bible and begin to think about the personal relationship they can choose to have with Jesus. They enjoy doing various craft activities and playing games that are linked to the stories.
Explorers 1 School years 2-5 Sunday Mornings
Explorers I meet in the Courtyard Room in the church centre during the morning service during term time. We aim to give children an opportunity to experience God and respond to what He is saying through creative prayer, craft, drama and discussion. We know that head knowledge is important but try to show the children that God is also looking for a heart response. Having fellowship with their peers is vital to keep children strong in their faith. We love it!! Through your prayers we hope to nurture and bless the children as they discover the incredible person of God for themselves.
Toast meets in the Upper Room in the Centre during the morning service during term time. TOAST is an acronym for ‘Teenagers Of All Saints Together’ and was thought up by the young people. Their inspiration came from the fact that they always have toast at the start!! Over toast, the young people and leaders catch up with each other before getting their teeth in to the topic for that day. The aim is to make the sessions both interactive and fun.
Junior Youth Club
School Years 3-7
Friday Nights @ 7pm
Youth Club meets in the centre every Friday night at 7pm during term time. This is a fantastic place to hang out, have fun, make friends and play games! We offer varied activities, many involving food eg making smoothies and eating pizza. We organize trips to the park, bowling and finish the year with a barbeque. Children are encouraged to bring their friends. The leaders are always positive and available to talk to the young people about relevant issues in their lives. We care and the kids know it. Every night there is also a 10 minute break time where some part of the good news of Jesus is communicated.
Years 6-8 Tuesday nights @ 6pm, term time
Toast tuesdays is for those in years 6-8. We meet in the garden room of the church centre on Tuesdays during term time from 6-7pm. Its a time to come and play games with friends, learn to pray together, sing some worship songs and discuss what it means to be a Christian. We pray for each other and see what God does from week to week in our lives. You can find the timetables for Toast and Rendezvous here.
Year 9 -13 Tuesday Nights @ 7pm, term time
Rendezvous is part of the youth ministry at All Saints Weston and a place where school years 9 to 13 can come to experience and explore the Christian faith. It is a safe place to socialize and relax, a space to listen and reflect, and a space to discuss and question areas of life that are relevant in your life. We are an inclusive community that welcomes all who want to discover who Jesus Christ is. We meet in the Garden Room in the Centre on Tuesday evenings during term time. Always kicking off with cake and hangout time there will be some worship which is alternated between sung and ‘alternative’ where the young people are encouraged to lead. As we discuss what it means to follow Jesus we’ll have any combination of music, games, challenges, small groups, and videos. Rendezvous has people coming from other churches as well and is for Christian young people who want to go deeper in their faith. You can find the timetables for Toast and Rendezvous here.
