Welcome to Bath!
All
Saints is a lively Anglican church in the parish of Weston,
serving a community of about 8,000 people, including several
schools and the city's main hospital.
During your time here we aim to provide help and support
through your student years. There are regular meetings arranged
providing opportunities to meet other Christian students
in the city, worship God together and learn more about him,
and one another.
We have two main services on Sunday:
10.30am - the main family
service. The childrens Sunday school is run in the Centre
during the service. This service is increasingly attended
by students and younger people, as well as families and
older members of the congregation.
6.30pm - an informal service of prayer, praise and worship, attended largely by younger people, from teens to young professionals.
You
will receive
a warm welcome and have the chance to meet some of the staff
team at an informal Welcome Supper!
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and meet
people from all walks of life.

There
is a student group on Sunday afternoons, prior to the evening
service. This runs from 4.30 until 6 ish in the Garden Room at the All Saints Centre. The group is for Christian students in Bath and takes on the form of a Bible study group. We start with drinks and cakes etc and have time to catch up with each other before going in to a time of exploring a piece of Scripture and seeing what it means for us today.
We would normally walk to All Saints at about 6 o'clock for the evening service which starts at 6.30. This is not a compulsory part of the group, but many students do this as they find All Saints offers good led worship and teaching as well as being a welcoming and friendly church with people of all ages attending.
A lift service to the group and from church after the evening service is available for first years living on campus.
There are also midweek homegroups and courses for
people of all ages, not exclusively students.
All
Saints is approximately 10-15 minutes by bus from the city
centre, with the main routes being the 14/714 stoping on
Crown Road near the back of Somerfield, or the 17/717 stopping
at the far end of the High Street near the pedestrian crossing/Pharmacy.
