Abp Eliud has been under huge pressure from his House of Bishops and many other people (from the Church and the Nation), over a variety of issues, not least the recent referendum on the new Constitution.  
 

KATE BRANKIN who is going on a SOMA team visit to Sudan in October. 
 

CHRIS AND FRAN NEWMAN Praise God for a wonderful wedding day. The sun shone and God’s presence was really felt. Pray for Chris as he takes up his role at All Saints later this month.

HOT SPRINGS Our church for young people with special needs will be meeting this afternoon 19th September. We will be meeting at the allotments so please pray for good weather and that we will have a relaxed enjoyable time together.

 

 

THE NEXT PCC MEETING will be tomorrow Monday 20th at 7.45pm in the Upper room All Saints Centre. 
 

MAKATON WORKSHOP. You are invited to join in with a Makaton sign language workshop on Saturday 25th September; 10.00am-3.30pm in the All Saints Centre. We will be learning some basic conversation signs as well as those used specifically in a Christian setting. The cost of the day is £12 or £10 if you bring someone with a learning disability with you. Contact Sarah Couchman for more information- you must register BEFORE the day! 
 

"FAMILY TREASURE HUNT: All Saints Centre will be the venue for a “More to Life” Family Treasure Hunt in and around Weston on Sunday 26th September 2010.  The Treasure Hunt, for all ages, will begin and end at the Centre from 2 pm onwards.   Afterwards there will be a café, stalls, fun for children and prizes for the winners back at the Centre.  Treasure Hunt tickets will be available in church services and from the Church Centre from September priced at £2:50 per adult in advance or £3:00 on the day and a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) £5:00/£6:00.  The proceeds will help to support the WASPS Swimming Pool  Fund  and the Church Centre.  Offers of help with event needed.  We also need lots of cakes and home produce (jams, pickles, plants and vegetables)  for a harvest home stall  Tel. REMINDER:  A repeat training session on 'Safeguarding Children' will take place on Monday 27th September in the Upper Room, Church Centre between 7:45pm and 9:30 pm.  Please contact Kathleen Paley) if you have not yet indicated your wish to attend.   
 

YOUTH CLUB (for children in Year 3 through to Year 8). Parents please note that youth club now runs from 6.30pm until 8pm each Friday. We are currently sorting out and simplifying the membership list. If your child is planning to come to youth club but has not yet registered by being there on a Friday night please could you please inform either Gaynor Williams or Fiona Day. 
 

THE ALPHA COURSE at the All Saints Centre will be commencing on Wednesday September 29 and running every Wednesday evening until December 1 with a half term break on October 27.
