We will also be welcoming Penelope Swithenbank who is an ordained Anglican priest with a wealth of experience, including churches in the US and UK. She is the author of several books (some of which will be available to buy). She now divides her time between mentoring, supporting and pastoring clergy and others, chaplaincy at Bath Abbey and leading retreats and writing. During the service, there will be the usual distribution of flowers in recognition of those who are mothers but also to those who fulfil a nurturing role in whatever way or who just want to say ‘thank you’ for their own mothers. We would love to start the service at 11.00 prompt with a ‘full house’. Starting later to accommodate late arrivals makes it more difficult for service leaders who have to be ready for children returning later in the service.

TUMBLERS is cancelled this week (27 March) due to Covid. Climbers, Explorers and Toast are all going ahead as usual at 10.55am in the Centre.
